I am really not interested in robots though I think they could do
good work in some aspects our lives. My knowledge about robots is
limited I have seen some on televion, which included robots which
could go up and down the stairs.
I know more about technology. I am speaking here about technology
consumer products such as iPod, iRiver, etc. I think we only know
multinational companies want to us know. There is technology also we
know, for example weapons, bombs were used in Afghanistan. We know
only the technology which it can sell.
On the other hand if we speak about technological developments
influencing our future lives:
For the time being we are benefiting from household appliances being
upgraded all the time. I have seen on television robots which could
hoover. We now have cars and airplanes with AI(artificial
Intelligence), little robotic minds, useful for helping humans, by
guiding us safety around the planet.
The question is if, AI is good for the planet and I believe the key
is to find the balance between technological development and human
endeavour, without compromising global ecology.
